I am registered in the UK with the Health and Care Professional Council (Reg No. PYL35477) and the British Psychological Society (Member No. 379124), which means that I work within the ethical framework of these organizations and I am committed to continual professional development and regular supervision to ensure that I provide excellence in my practice.
I completed my degree in Psychology with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychologist at “Universidad Arturo Michelena” in Valencia, Venezuela in 2007. After that, I finished my training as a Clinical Psychologists and Psychotherapist in 2010 with the highest honour of my class at “Hospital Centro de Salud del Este El Peñón” in Caracas, Venezuela.
As part of my professional development, I completed in 2009 a Specialisation in Rorschach Psychodiagnostics with the “Asocación Argentina de Psicodiagnóstico de Rorschach” and I hold an Advance diploma in Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents which I did at the “Sociedad Psicoanalítica de Caracas” in 2012.
I am an international and bilingual Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist, with more than 10 years experience of providing 1-1 interventions for children, adolescents and adults using different approach like informed CBT and Psychodinamic therapy in different backgrounds and settings, including CAMHS which is the NHS children and adolescent mental health service.
I have experience working with people who are struggling with different emotions, have been through traumatic situations, family problems, domestic violence, bereavement, post-traumatic stress disorder, behavioral problems, attachment disorder or suffer anxiety, depression, panic attacks personality disorders, psychosis or dependency and addiction.
